Description
Mano a Mano is a Minnesota-based nonprofit that works to improve the health and economic well-being of impoverished Bolivians. In Minnesota we collect donated surplus medical supplies and ship them to Bolivia; to date we have shipped over 1.8 million pounds of supplies. In Bolivia, Mano a Mano builds schools, clinics, and community bathrooms; transports critically ill patients via airplane to city hospitals; and builds roads and water reservoirs. All of these projects are constructed focusing on long-term sustainability.
