Making Books Sing

about

Founded in 1996, Making Books Sing began as the family theatre and education program of the acclaimed Vineyard Theatre. After five years of steady growth, Making Books Sing became an independent, 501(c)3 organization. Making Books Sing produces sophisticated theatrical productions adapted from thought-provoking children's books. In addition to the annual theatrical production, the organization has an intensive arts-in-education program for New York City public schools students (Pre-K to Eight grade) teaching literacy, social studies, and theatre arts skills.
