Description
MICP is a 501(c)3 non-profit cross community program designed to teach conflict resolution and cultural differences to Northern Irish teens who are still faced with sectarianism, but also now face issues of racism. They are brought to the US for 5 weeks in the summer to learn a different culture and to learn how to work as a team and with a host family on issues they face. While on the US side, American teens visit NI during school break to see what it's like to live in a culture so close to ours, but very different in many ways and how these issues are dealt with in a whole different manner.
