Description
The Maine Alliance for Arts Education works through its network of classroom teachers, art specialists, school administrators, parents, artists and community supporters to ensure their local communities offer quality arts-education experiences for all Maine children. The Alliance is a member of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in Washington D.C., and receives funding from the Maine Arts Commission, MaineShare, foundations, and its members.
The mission of the Maine Alliance for Arts Education is to encourage and strengthen educational excellence in the visual arts, music, theatre, dance and writing in all Maine schools and communities.
