Description

The Main Line Adult Day center is a special center that has provided services to over 500 families in the past 16 years. We are located in a two story house on the property of the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian church. We provide a structured and supportive day program for senior citizens with physical or cognitive disabilities who cannot be left alone during the day. Participants who attend Main Line Adult Day Center suffer fro a variety of chronic and catastrophic illness such as stroke, Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease, MS, Picks, MH/MR, CHF, COPD, HTN and depression. The center is staffed by caring and compassionate professionsl including a nurse, an activity therapist and nursing and program assistancts who organize for each adult a daily regime of individual and group exercises as well as therapeutic activities that aim to enhance their independent functioning while promoting socialization.
