Women In Media & News (WIMN) is a national grassroots women's media analysis, education and advocacy group dedicated to increasing women's presence and power in the public debate (www.wimnonline.org). Women produces articles, studies and action alerts analyzing representations of women and socio-political issues in news and entertainment media; provides media trainings for women's groups; and challenges the underrepresentation of women's voices in media by helping journalists connect up with a diverse national network of women expert news sources. Additionally, WIMN hosts "WIMN's Voices" (www.wimnonline.org/WIMNsVoicesBlog), a high-traffic women's media monitoring group blog through which dozens of women writers analyze news and entertainment media content, and advocate media policy reforms, on a daily basis.
