Description
We are a private non-profit organization serving 4,500 people with developmental disabilities. The Recreation Empowerment committee is comprised of a group of developentally disabled adults who help plan and develop the wants and needs for recreation activities for themselves and their peers. The only funding they receive is through grants and/or fund raising. This helps to pay for dances, gardening groups, arts and crafts, swimming classes, painting lessons and many more. Any extra help we could get to help fund recreational opportunities for those that do not have any money in their budgets to do so would be WONDERFUL and greatly appreciated! Thank you!
