Detroit, MI 48214
47% of adults in the city of Detroit are functionally illiterate. The real unemployment rate hovers near 30%. Housing prices values continue to plummet, even as Wayne County repossesses thousands of foreclosed and abandoned homes.
In the midst of this pain, MACC Development exists to bring hope and rehabilitation, and reinvest in a community many have considered long forgotten.
MACC Development is a gospel-centered, locally-led, non-profit community development corporation located on the east side of Detroit. The organization is dedicated to the holistic revitalization of the 48214 community, from Indian Village to Pingree Park, by way of investments in education, housing, and economic development.
MACC Development leads several initiatives, including MAC Lit, MACC Housing, and is currently incubating two new ideas: MACC Legal and MACC Sports.
We welcome your partnership with us in seeking the development of our community, by our community, and for our community.
