Description
Founded in 1995, the mission of Lyric Arts Company of Anoka is to present music and theater productions in order to promote awareness of, appreciation for, and participation in the performing arts. Lyric Arts educates cultivates, and nurtures performing artists and audiences of all ages by providing high-quality opportunities to experience and celebrate these art forms in the Twin Cities' northern metropolitan area. Lyric Arts is dedicated to making the performing arts accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Lyric Arts produces live theater for the community and by the community. Each ten-production season is comprised of a mix of comedies, dramas, musicals, and productions for children. Each year, Lyric Arts also serves approximately 450 students of all ages with its popular performing arts workshops and presents an outreach program to 15 local senior centers.
