Description

Lutheran Social Services of Indiana (LSSI) is a ministry of the Lutheran church serving 22 counties across northern Indiana. It is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and recognized by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

Mission Statement: Lutheran Social Services of Indiana is a multi-service social ministry organization, guided and sustained by the love of Jesus Christ. The Agency serves those in need, particularly those with few options and opportunities.

LSSI provides services through Adoption, Child Care for low income families, Counseling; Case Management for crack/cocaine addicted individuals (Family Preservation), screening of families with new born children to detect risk of abuse and neglect (Healthy Families), foster parent training, home-based case management (Case Management Initiative and CARE); Teen Parenting, Emergency Assistance, Paint-A-Thon, and Lutheran Disability Outreach.
