Description
Lutheran Association for Special Education (LASE) has a history of providing special education services to children for over 55 years. The special needs of students served include learning disabilities, speech and language delays, intellectual disabilities, Autism spectrum disorders and Attention Deficit Disorders. During the 2011-12 school year, services were provided to 730 students in 13 Lutheran schools and preschools in the greater St. Louis area on a regular or itinerant basis. These special education services included: resource room services, speech and language screenings and therapy, education resource consulting, early childhood screenings and tutoring services.
