Description
The Luther Center is the campus ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America at the University of South Dakota. The overall mission of Lutheran Campus Ministry is to “invite people in the academic setting more deeply into Jesus Christ and the community that bears his name.” We accomplish this mission at USD by encouraging the students, faculty and staff involved in our mission and ministry "to grow in their Christian faith through outreach, worship, service and fellowship." The Luther Center is a community which gathers around God’s Word and Sacraments and reaches out in Christ’s name to those who have not heard of his saving grace. The Luther Center raises up leaders for the Church and trains them for witness and service.
