Description
Established in 1965, Lura Turner Homes is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides residences and services in two group homes and one assisted living center for adults who have developmental, physical, and emotional disabilities. We use a family-type setting in our homes while providing care for the residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, we operate a Day Treatment Program for residents who are unable to be employed in community employment or supported vocational employment centers. The Day Treatment Program offers outings for community integration, reinforcement of daily living skills, pet therapy, and learning activities for cognitive reinforcement.
