Description
Lupus International was founded in 1983, initially as the Lupus Foundation of America Greater Los Angeles Chapter, a non profit organization. As we continued to grow and expand our services, it became more evident that our programs were being utilized beyond Los Angeles, hence the name change. Our corporate headquarters is located in the heart of one of the leading research and biotech areas in the country.
Mission
The primary function of Lupus International is to alleviate suffering for lupus patients through patient services, including education, early detection of undiagnosed cases through awareness promotion, and to eradicate lupus by supporting lupus research.
There is hope. During our 22 years, we have provided thousands of people with educational and supportive services. We assist those affected by lupus to live fuller, more productive lives.
