The Lummi Head Start Parent Committee plans and funds numerous events throughout the school year. The Lummi Head Start serves mostly Native American children but also all children living below the poverty line. The parent Committee funds activities such as: parent child activity days, father involvment, liabrary, end of the year carnival, pumpkin celebration, books for the homes, hats, gloves, warm clothing, and numerous other event.
