Description
LUK, established in 1970, is a central Massachusetts non-profit social service agency that provides a continuum of high quality services to at-risk youth and their families. LUK's mission is to challenge and support youth and their families to recognize and fulfill their unique and productive potential through community-based prevention, intervention and education services. LUK provides a wide range of community-based programming including foster care, outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment, respite services, home-based family counseling, short-term assessment and stabilization services for children and adolescents, mentoring, group homes for psychiatrically-involved youth, transition to independent living for older adolescents, street outreach, intensive case management, coordination of child welfare services, youth support, shelter, and prevention and education services.
