Description

Lucky Mutts Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit rescue group based in Austin, Texas. Its mission is to educate the public about responsible pet ownership. It has a network of foster homes in the Austin area. Well-screened applicants are able to adopt dogs that would otherwise not have a chance to live due to overcrowding at shelters. All dogs and new owners take training classes to ensure that the dog enters an educated household and that a healthy bond is developed with all of the household members in the new home.
