Lower Lights impacts the distressed community of Franklinton, located just west of downtown Columbus, Ohio. Motivated by the love of God, the mission of Lower Lights is to promote the development and well-being of individuals, families, and community of Franklinton by partnering together as loving neighbors. It achieves this mission by providing innovative community development programs designed to serve people holistically. Lower Lights provides Rachel’s House, a transitional housing and supportive after services for female ex-offenders, Project AIM, comprehensive family mentoring and case management, Friends Ministry to the homeless, substance/alcohol recovery groups, and children’s programming.
