Description
The Lowcountry Open Land Trust is dedicated to the conservation of South Carolina’s irreplaceable natural and historically significant Lowcountry landscape. We educate private landowners on strategies to permanently protect the lands valued by their communities. We believe that the private, voluntary protection of significant forest and farmlands, wildlife habitats, waterways and open spaces through conservation easements and other methods will help to preserve the unique sense of place and quality of life that distinguish the South Carolina Lowcountry.
