The Low Birth Weight Development Center is a unique multifaceted comprehensive program designed to meet the complex psychosocial and developmental needs of high-risk, low birth weight infants, birth through three years and their indigent, adolescent or young adult parents. The LBWDC is the national model for helping these high risk,low birth weight babies and their families have a chance to grow in safe and healthy environments.
