Description

LAPS provides quality animal-assisted therapy through stable, well-trained therapy teams. Our
volunteers focus on creating therapy programs at which multiple teams work together. By offering a variety of animals at our sessions we are able to engage more people.

Our teams work together to build the skills needed to be most effective and safe in a variety of settings.
We currently have programs working with the elderly, special needs children and troubled teens. Our sessions take several forms including educational and interactive programs, visiting sessions, and working with professionals in one-on-one sessions addressing specific client needs.
