Description

As Kentucky's largest HIV/AIDS fundraising and awareness event, Louisville AIDS Walk unites the community to support the local fight against HIV/AIDS. The Walk raises funds to provide local people who are struggling with HIV/AIDS with direct client services such as: food, housing, medical co-pay assistance, public transportation to and from medical appointments, counseling, education / life skills workshops, a monthly fellowship dinnner, support groups, spiritual retreats, legal assistance and children's programs. Since 1993 Louisville AIDS Walk has raised funds for 11 local, non-profit organizations with an impressive overall average expense rate of 11%. We are a Better Business Bureau Accredit Chairty, recongized as a 501(C)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service and have been verified by GuideStar's Charity Check program.
