Description
Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy is an all-volunteer environmental non-profit located in Loudoun County, Virginia. We offer environmental education programs such as speaker programs and field trips, support to local schools in offering environmental education opportunities. We lead several environmental monitoring/citizen science programs: Christmas Bird Count, Annual Butterfly Count, Stream monitoring, Amphibian monitoring and Bluebird nestbox monitoring. We also organize and execute habitat restoration projects throughout the year and engage in conservation advocacy. Our mission is to promote the preservation and proliferation of healthy wildlife habitats in Loudoun County, Virginia.
