Description
The Lotus Project Los Angeles is a program of Community Partners and a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Its mission is to break the cycle of violence against women with developmental disabilities (such as cerebral palsy and intellectual disabilities) by providing support, education, resources and strategies to protect and advocate for themselves in abusive situations. The Lotus Project provides group therapy, community safety training, as well as survivor art therapy and poetry writing for all participants. The services are at no charge to participants.
