Description
Los Embajadores is a service-learning program that facilitates trips to Mexico for teenage youth from the United States. In order to create greater global awareness and solidarity, youth live simply for one week, striving to build community with our Mexican hosts. Participants gain perspective on worldwide social issues such as poverty and immigration and share this understanding with friends and family upon returning home, thus becoming embajadores, or “ambassadors.”
