Investigating suspected cases of cruelty or neglect and caring for the animals involved. Other cruelty we see stems from neglect - animals deprived of basic needs like food, water and shelter from the elements.
The foundation regularly supports the rehabilitation of neglected and abused animals rescued by the department. With your help, we can continue to be there for those animals who need us most.
You can stop animals cruelty. If you suspect it, write down the details and report it to the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and control at (562) 940-6898. If you are uncertain as to whether a situation warrants investigation, call us and let us check it out.
Pain and suffering are inexcusable, especially when they can be so easily prevented. Together we are standing up against animal cruelty.
