Description

LVEP is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to providing leadership, knowledge, and resources that develop healthy children, youth, and communities. To accomplish this mission, LVEP generates and communicates new knowledge, and brings together community, state, and national leaders as well as linking to international initiatives.

LVEP is a train-the-teachers initiative that provides practical methods on how to integrate values-development into course curricula for students from preschool age to young adult. Training takes place without charge to participants, workshop-style, generally over an intensive weekend retreat at requesting sites

A series of five resource guides for teachers and facilitators won the prestigious 2002 "Teachers Choice Award". These include guides for children Ages 3-7; Ages 8-14; Young Adults; Parent Groups; Facilitators.
