Description
Little Big Medicine Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to building and maintaining a solar hogan health clinic on the Navajo reservation in Wheatfields, Arizona.
The purpose of this clinic will be to provide Traditional Navajo healing with herbs, ceremony, nutritional counciling and spritual guidance from Navajo Medicine people Danny and Lavina John.
The John's have been practicing traditional Navajo healing for over 30 years with emphasis on helping those with diabetes. They will also welcome to the clinic alternative medicine practitioners, provide nutritional classes, health education, a natural foods cooperative and organic gardening. Funds are being raised for this project.
