Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County (NY) is a nonprofit VOLUNTEER educational organization that recruits, trains and supports volunteers who provide free, confidential tutoring to adults, out-of-school teens, and families, living in the eastern New York Capital District region, in reading, writing, and conversational English in order to help these learners achieve their personal, social, educational and job-related goals.
