Description
Our Mission:
Lit Spirit Rescue is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing emergency relief, shelter, care , rehabilitation, and adoption services for abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted horses. LSR provides community resources through equine education, counseling, information and referral services. LSR is funded through individual donations, grants, bequests and corporate sponsorships.
Our Goals:
To provide shelter, rehabilitation, care and adoption services for surrendered and legally impounded horses, entrusted to our care.
To facilitate the surrender of horses by owners who are no longer able to provide adequate care for their equines.
