Description

The Lions Pride Endowment Fund, Inc. is "Today's Help and Tomorrow's Hope" for children and adults with special needs in Wisconsin. The Lions Pride Endowment Fund's sole purpose is to ensure Wisconsin Lions Camp and all WLF statewide projects are available today and for future generations.

In 1956 a Wisconsin Lions Club member overheard a blind child say, “Blind kids can’t go to outdoor camps and stuff like that. . .”

Since that time, the Lions Clubs of Wisconsin, through the Wisconsin Lions Foundation (WLF,) have allowed children with special needs; visual, hearing, cognitive and diabetes, to experience camp and “stuff” they normally wouldn't be able to. Some 68,000 campers have attended Lions Camp at no cost to their families ... some 1300 each year from across Wisconsin. With your help, we will continue to hear future generations of campers say . . . “It’s the best week ever, everyone’s just like me!”

Beyond Camp the WLF allows Wisconsin Lions to provide Eyeglass Recycling, Diabetes Prevention Education, Hearing Aids and Children’s Vision Screening all at no cost to the participants or their families.
