Description
The Family Resource Center at Lincoln Trail Elementary School is part of the school and provides services to families and children that enhance students' ability to succeed in school. We focus on early learning and successful transition into and between schools, basic needs, educational support, counseling services, helping families access community resources for health needs, child care and much more. We help families overcome barriers to learning. Some of the onsite programs we offer include the First Connections program for birth to age 5 which uses Parents as Teachers trained educators to do both in-home and on-site work with parents and children. We also offer a Grandparent Support Group for Grandparents and other "Kin" that are raising children.
