Description
Lincoln Elementary School, which is part of the North Lawrence Community School Corporation, is located in Shawswick Township in Bedford, Indiana. It was originally built in 1959 with a major addition and renovation being added in 1986. It is located on an attractive seven acre site just five blocks southeast of the Bedford city court house.
The one-level building consists of 21 classrooms, a media center, a multi-purpose room, an art room, a music room, a speech and language room, a cafeteria and kitchen, a lounge/work room, an at-risk room, a student council room, a Title I room, and an office complex.
Lincoln Elementary School's mission has been to help each individual student develop to his/her fullest potential. Over the last five years, the faculty and staff have provided an educational program for each student to acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to be productive members of our society.
