Description
The Lilac Tree: Resources for Divorcing Women is a resource and a haven for women contemplating divorce, in the process or post-decree. Our mission is to provide education, support and guidance to women in the divorce process, so that they can move confidently towards independence.
We are unique in Evanston and the surrounding Northern Illinois area.
We offer help five ways:1. Individual Information Sessions for women at the beginning of the process; 2. Divorce Workshops, Seminars and our semi-annual day long Divorce University; 3. Divorce Support Groups led by a therapist; 4. Free Referrals to professionals in our registry, including divorce attorneys, mediators, financial and divorce planners, therapists, social service agencies and more; 5. Social Programs-Join us for fun events through out the year.
Partial scholarships are available for all Lilac Tree Programs.
