Dedicated first to those most in need, LifeWays’ mission is to help people grow by encouraging choice and self-direction through integrated service delivery systems, effective resource management, partnering, and quality provider networks.
LifeWays is in charge of Medicaid and other public Behavioral Health Services in Jackson and Hillsdale counties of Michigan. We manage the funds, make sure there is good care, make it easy to get services, make sure the services are medically necessary, and make sure that enough providers for mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services are available.
