Description

LIFESPAN is an interfaith, nonprofit, volunteer organization in NW Atlanta that strives to enable independent living and to provide opportunities for retired persons to use their knowledge, skills and experience through four programs.

LUNCH N' LEARN - a weekly education program with a quarterly curriculum of 15 -20 classes taught by volunteer professors and instructors.

ADULT DAY CLUB - a professionsally structured respite program designed to provide older adults with physical or cognitive limitations an out-of-home social, educational, and recreational opportunity.

MEDICAL ESCORT TRANSPORTATION - volunteers drive older adults to and from medical appointments.

FAITH IN ACTION - provides informal volunteer caregiving services to people 50 or older who have social or physical needs. From visitation to help with simple everyday tasks.
