Description
Lifelong Medical Care is a community clinic that serves the underserved and uninsured population in Alameda County California (Oakland, Berkeley, and surrounding areas). On Wednesday night there is an ugent care clinic that is staffed solely by volunteer physicians, medical assistants, and front desk eligibity workers. Although Wednesday night's opperating budget is very low because there is no staff salary, we still have considerable expenses with labs and prescriptions. It is our goal to raise money to help offset some of these expensive, along with waiving the fifteen dollar copay that some of our patients have coming in.
