As a private, not-for-profit, child placing agency, our mission, for every family, is to foster love, comfort, and stability, so that every life gains fulfillment.
Since 1981, we have provided families for children in need, as well as for adults with developmental disabilities. Based in Morganton, North Carolina, we have operated as a private, not-for-profit corporation licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services to provide specialized foster care. In 1990, we became Lifegains, Inc., and have continued to provide the same comprehensive services that have earned us a positive reputation throughout the state.
