Life Renewed is an organization that believes every person's life has a plan and a purpose. Keeping with that belief, we have created programs that transform lives and changes communities.
Operation Not Forgotten / Vet Life Community
Operation Not Forgotten is a program of Life Renewed International, a non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization, and was created to help veterans and their families achieve a better quality of life. Operation Not Forgotten operates through peer-support groups called Vet Life Communities.
Under the umbrella of Operation Not Forgotten, we are implementing Vet Life Community on a national basis.
Our peer-mentoring groups will utilize a well-researched handbook and other materials, and each participant will be offered the opportunity to take our online assessment, Life Renewed Quality of Life Assessment (QOLA). This instrument will help to determine the appropriate coaching they may need as they transition back into life outside the military.
The mission of the Operation Not Forgotten / Vet Life Community is to measurably improve a veteran’s quality of life and functioning in these areas: mental, emotional, social, and spiritual.
What is Vet Life Community?
Vet Life Community is a network of local weekly peer-based support meetings - the buddy system, veterans helping veterans, families helping families face to face - offering the tools necessary to assess needs and determine what, if any, help veterans and their families may require as they transition back into civilian life. Vet Life Community is designed to create a confidential, community-based meeting place. Meetings are free for all participating veterans and their loved ones.
