Description
In Northeast Africa, local churches operated by nationals strive tirelessly to meet the spiritual needs of their communities. At the same time, current critical global concerns such as HIV/AIDS, poverty, and orphaned/vulnerable children devastate the physical, psychological, educational, and emotional fabric of the community.
LIA, therefore, exists to mobilize, train and empower the national-led church to improve the health and living standards of their neighbors through localized community development programs. In particular, LIA seeks to join churches that are located in Africa's poorest and most vulnerable communities.
