Description
Through free SAT preparation, college and financial aid workshops, and individualized college advising, Let's Get Ready (LGR) fills a critical gap in college access support for disadvantaged students. Harnessing the energy and expertise of college student volunteers, LGR guides, equips, and inspires under-served high school students through the college-going process.
To date, LGR’s trained college volunteers have helped more than 3,000 low-income and first-generation students to “step up” to college. Programs run in the spring, summer, and fall in partnership with colleges, high schools, and community organizations. Locations are throughout the northeast!
