Description

The Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living (LVCIL), Inc. is the only cross-disability organization serving both Lehigh and Northampton Counties. LVCIL offers four core services; Information & Referral, Peer Support, Individual and Systems Advocacy and Independent Living Skills. Addition programs include Housing Search and Support, the 24-hour Sign Language Interpreter Referral Service, and community outreach programs such as the LVCIL Speaker's Bureau and the Common Playgrounds Program. There is also the LVCIL Freewheelers, a wheelchair athletic organization and the Wellness for All Program, which provides healthy and wellness advice to persons with disabilities. All programs and services are free to persons with disabilities.
