Description

Central Center for Family Resources is a 501©3 organization established in 1979 to meet the needs of the children and families. Our mission is to identify the need of troubled children and their families, strengthen the family unit and expand support systems to prevent present problems from becoming chronic.

We are located in Spring Lake Park, MN a northern suburb of Minneapolis. Over 65% of our clients are the uninsured, the underinsured or are on some form of medical assistance.

Services we provide include child psychiatry, psychotherapy, play therapy, group therapy, psychological testing, in school psychological services, free school based peer support groups for youth at risk, a domestic abuse program for men and women and children, a sexual assault program for women, and a drop in center for adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses. We have 25 licensed mental health professionals and work with children of all ages and families.
