Description

LDA was founded in 1963 by parents of children with learning disabilities who were seeking to ensure the best possible education to meet their child's individual needs. Now a membership organization comprised of volunteers who are parents of children with learning disabilities, adults with learning disabilities, or the professionals who serve them. The national office is in Pittsburgh, PA, but every state has a state affiliate or a contact that offers information and support to members or those seeking help. Our website is www.LDAamerica.org Members receive a newsletter six times per year, access to a membership area on our website, and reduced fees to attend our annual Conference.
