Description
The Learning Centers at Fairplex (TLC) is uniquely equipped to bring together a variety of educational programs at Fairplex, the "World's Largest Classroom" and home of the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona, California. To meet educational and community needs and provide opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds, TLC programs utilize many of the assets located on the 543 acre campus such as the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel, a food service company, the National Hot Rod Association Museum, a maintenance yard, and a building fully-dedicated to educational programming. By complementing existing activities taking place at Fairplex, these programs provide participants with relevant educational opportunities.
TLC provides lifelong learning opportunities during the annual Fair in September and throughout the year through its four flagship programs: Career & Technical Education Center, Fairtime Learning, Child Development Center, and Junior Fair Board.
