Description

The Center is a comprehensive, women-focused, educational program designed to empower immigrant women and their families through education and outreach. The focus of our organization is to create systemic change in the educational process of marginalized women so they may overcome the barriers of illiteracy and poverty. The Learning and Loving Education Center improves the lives of our clients by increasing their skills, fostering their hopes, and providing direction for a greater potential. Our mission is realized through education within the following areas: literacy, English-as-a-second-language, computer skills training, Internet access, nutrition, parenting, health, and other lifelong learning education. Children of adult learners are taught pre-literacy and school readiness skills.
