Description

Lean On Me Breast Cancer Network Inc. was initially established in May 2000 to provide one on one peer support to women on Long Island who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Since its inception, the programs and services have expanded and now include several forums for information and support, all offered free of charge. The Network presently sponsors a weekly patient support group, patient information kits, free wig and post surgical bra fittings, Breast Cancer Evening Update and a Wellness Retreat. Lean On Me Breast Cancer Network Inc. has been designed to provide patients and their families a comprehensive set of resources in order to better manage their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. It is our hope to positively impact the overall quality of life of each individual patient as well.
