Description
The League for Yiddish is a Yiddish cultural nonprofit organzation which publishes a high quality all-Yiddish magazine called "AFn Shvel" 2-3 times a year. The goals of the organization are:
* to encourage people to speak Yiddish in their everyday life;
* to enhance the prestige of Yiddish as a living language, both within and outside the Yiddish-speaking community;
* to promote the modernization of Yiddish.
