LCCR is the nerve center for the struggle against discrimination in all its forms. It is the only umbrella group that focuses the efforts of more than 190 national organizations on legislation and policy for protecting, defending and securing civil and human rights.
LCCR provides a powerful unified voice for national organizations representing persons of color, women, children, older Americans, gays and lesbians, individuals with disabilities, labor unions, major religious groups, and civil liberties and human rights groups.
