Description
Law Enforcement Youth Camp is a summer camp for under privileged children who would not have an opportunity to go to a summer camp. The camp is put together solely by law enforcement officers from the community which the children reside (Missoula Montana). Sheriff Deputies, City Police Officers, Probation Officers, Detention Officers and 911 Dispatchers all volunteer their time being the camp staff and counselors. The camp is six days and five nights long and we provide the children with three meals a day with snacks throughout the day. We also provide structured activities for the kids to do throughout their stay at the camp. Within a typical day, kids will be able to go fishing on a boat which many of them have never done before, Kayaking, canoeing, arts and crafts, fly tying, swimming, hiking, playing basketball, volleyball, and at night; capture the flag.
